Simple…. Because I love it!!
I fell in love with animation from an early age. I use to question how they did it. My father got me my very first animation book (it was a “how to draw” book from Disney). God I loved that book!! I use to look at it and try to animate stick figures. It was fun while you’re young. But until I reached high school they canceled art class in Saudi schools. So I had no output thru out my high school years, except when I sneak a sketchbook and some color pencils to Islamic class and I sit behind a big guy, and then I start to draw. Some teachers saw what I was doing but they kept asking me to continue to draw. My drawing style was influenced by Japanese animation back then. I became a fan of traditional Japanese animation. At that time I found out that everything is influenced by everything, what I mean is that in the past Japanese animation was influenced by American animation and now is vice versa.

Where do I go from here?
I have changed my idea many times since I came up with it in July. From the start I wanted to work with 16 different materials and techniques. Then it became 8. With changing my concept from (I am pencil) to (I am bones) changed everything. Then, because of time I made it to 4 different materials and phrases (“I am bones” for pencil, “I am muscles” for ink, “I am blood” for color pencil, and “I am skin” for vector”).
